It is with great pride we announce that Erin Gibbens, third year instructor, is a recipient of an award from the Sacramento Central Labor Council in recognition of her outstanding and invaluable work.

The Sacramento Electrical Training Center is proud to announce the winner of the 57th Annual Western States Electrical Contest, our very own Chase Mora. Through perseverance, dedication, and hard work Chase beat out his fellow competitors and, for the first time, brought the championship home to Local 340.

Ken Irwin, the JATC’s Assistant Training Coordinator, has recently received his 30-year pin for his IBEW Union membership.

Each year, locals from across the western U.S. send participants to compete in the Western States Electrical Contest, a one-day grueling test of skill and knowledge. 

Big thank you to SMA America for their generous donation to our training center and for the tour of their Rocklin training center! Donations like these from our partner vendors are what helps us continue to provide training on the latest technology.
